Photos from the set of James Gunn’s Superman continue to leak, but the peculiarity of these new images that have just arrived online is that they are truly ‘official’ photos… published by the Daily Planet, the famous Metropolis newspaper.
As you can see at the bottom of the article, in fact, some shots have arrived on social media taken from the set of Superman, the first film of James Gunn’s DCU, whose filming is currently underway in Atlanta: the images show some ‘real’ photos of Superman published in the Daily Planet newspaperan exclusive of the legendary newspaper of the DC world directed by Perry White and in which the protagonists Clark Kent and Lois Lane work.
The images – which come from a copy of the newspaper prepared for filming and which appeared on the set – show fans Superman in action, with the actor David Corenswet trying to stop a train recreating an iconic scene from the Superman: Seasons comicnot surprisingly one of the comics that James Gunn has indicated among the main sources of inspiration for his new film.
Recall that Superman will be released on July 11, 2025 and will be the second chapter of the DCU after the animated series Creature Commandos, which will kick off the franchise and which will be released at the end of 2024. Recently, Chris Pratt was also spotted on the set of Superman, hosted by James Gunn to watch the making of the film.
