A scary one crash on E45 in the stretch of the fast road that crosses the Cesena area near the hamlet of San Carlo. The fight between a car and a truck took the life of a man entrepreneur which made the history of road haulage, especially with its famous fridge truck but also of Romagna sport: Luciano Marani he was 84 years old and a well-known man in Cesena.

He had been an entrepreneur in the trucking sector and also in the real estate sector. For example, the creation of the complex is linked to him «Cesena of the Nineties» which is located between via Angeloni and via Piave, but the legendary feats are also linked to its name Ahena, the women’s team Cesena basketball, of which he was president for a long time in the golden years. In that period he went on to win the Champions Cup, a Ronchetti Cup and the national championship. Leaves the wife Nives Casavecchia and her children Andrea and Silvia.
The accident on the E45 involved many vehicles
In the stretch where the accident occurred there is two-way traffic due to works and the Panda driven by Marani collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. In addition to the two vehicles, a Kawasaki motorcycle was also involved, the driver of which fortunately did not suffer serious injuries. The same goes for the woman who was driving the heavy vehicle.

Another car, in which there were a husband and wife and two children, also avoided disaster, despite suffering damage, managing to pass through a space left free in the middle of that infernal scene. Suddenly the elderly entrepreneur began to skid to the left and the truck driverseeing it coming towards him, he tried to throw himself towards the right, against the parapet on the edge of the road. But she was unable to avoid the collision, which was fatal.
