Viterbo – Municipality – All the measures from 4th to 7th July

Viterbo – Received and published – The 24th edition of Ludika1243 is underway. The event, scheduled for July 4th to 7th, will involve some streets and squares in the city center. In this regard, to allow the event to proceed smoothly, some measures have been put in place regarding parking and vehicular traffic. These are the main provisions issued by the local police with a specific ordinance (n. 400 of 29-6-2024):
– no parking with forced removal for all categories of vehicles from 8 am on 3 July to midnight on 7 July in the following streets and squares: via Fattungheri, piazza Santa Maria Nuova, via Macel Maggiore, via Pietra del Pesce, piazza San Carluccio, via San Pellegrino up to number 75 and the adjacent raised part from piazza del Fosso to via Grotti, piazza Scacciaricci, piazza San Pellegrino, piazza del Fosso.
– From 5pm to midnight, from 4th to 7th July, vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the above-mentioned streets and squares, with the exception of the vehicles of the organisers and authorised personnel.
– From 6:30 p.m. until the end of the need on July 7, on the occasion of the “Pitched Battle”, traffic interruptions and diversions may occur along the following route: Piazza San Carluccio, Via S. Pellegrino, Via S. Pietro, Via delle Fabbriche, Piazza Fontana Grande, Via Cavour, Piazza del Plebiscito, Via F. Ascenzi, Piazza Martiri d’Ungheria, Via El Alamein, Via Faul, Porta Faul.
Local police officers and other traffic police bodies will have the power to allow transit to particular categories of users, for proven needs, in relation to the road and traffic conditions of the places affected by this provision.
The above-mentioned traffic ban measures are considered waived, compatibly with the contingent needs of protecting the safety of pedestrian traffic, in the following cases: to allow the transit of rescue, emergency and police vehicles, vehicles in use – or at the service – of disabled people, equipped with the appropriate permit, and doctors on urgent home visits; for Viterbo Ambiente vehicles, for the organizers’ vehicles with the appropriate permit displayed, issued by the Local Police Command.
If necessary, additional traffic and parking control measures may be put in place along the entire road network of the event.
