Luca Carra is the new general manager of Spal. After that of Alex Casella, another piece of the very complicated puzzle of Spal 2024-2025 finally goes to his place. After days of rumours and names, therefore, Di Taranto – who arrived just a year ago after Gazzoli’s farewell – has left the white and blue desk (Cesena direction) to Carra from Parma, who has signed a contract until June 30, 2026.

The approval, as expected, came only when the President Joe Tacopina landed on Italian soil, after weeks of work in the United States. Who is Luca Carra?
Carra began his career in Parma (at the time of Tanzi), where he became general manager and CEO between 2015 and 2021.
