“Camilla is fine and has returned home”. Missing 14-year-old found in Bologna



Great news coming from Pianoro, in the province of Bologna: Camilla Suzzithe 14-year-old missing since June 22, has in fact called home and is fine. After many days of anguished searches, this story has therefore concluded with a happy ending.

Disappearance

According to local authorities, Camilla had disappeared last year June 22nd. Not having seen her return home, the parents of the 14-year-old immediately raised the alarm. The minor’s father went to the local police station in Pianoro to report his daughter’s disappearance and the search began from there.

Apparently Camilla had been seen for the last time on Sunday 23 June. Some witnesses had in fact reported having noticed her wandering around the university area of ​​Bologna, in via de’ Carracci, near the station. From that moment on, nothing more was heard of her.

In recent days, parents have launched several appealsincluding one on TV. “She had gone out without a cell phone and without documents. We know that she had suggested to some friends to go to Bologna, but they refused, so she went anyway, alone”is what the 14-year-old’s father declared, as reported by Republic.

Camilla was then spotted at the Rimini station leads to Bellaria and there was talk of a boy. “She told us that she had already met this boy in the past, but we don’t know if it’s true. We are in contact with both the Bologna and Rimini mobile squads, we are waiting to see if they intercept her at the Venice station to decide how to proceed. She could also disappear again. We are afraid that these older people she is travelling with will take advantage of her”, the man added, revealing that the girl had already left home in the past, even if only for a few hours.

Today the news of the discovery. Camilla contacted the parents, after a whole week of searching. “She called me from a private number. She told me she was fine, that she was with this boy who was older than her and asked me if she could stay with him. She said that after arriving in Venice she would go home, but we remain very worried. Camilla is a very intelligent girl, but she doesn’t realize that she is only fourteen.

Now all we want is to bring her home safe and sound,” her father said.
