The Padua Flying Squad reported an 18-year-old from Masera’ (Padua) and a 15-year-old unaccompanied foreigner for a robbery of two very young people, which took place on April 27th in the central Piazza Duomo.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office served the first one with a notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations in recent days.

The Venice Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office is instead proceeding against the minor.
The two, according to the investigators’ reconstruction, approached two young men from Padua, aged 17 and 18, and threatened them, ordering them to take out their wallets and hand over the money, putting their hands in their pockets as if they had knives, they snatched the helmet from one’s hand and hit the other on the visor; the loot was 50 euros.
Once the complaint was received, the police officers cross-referenced the images from the video surveillance of the Municipality of Padua with the Instagram profiles of some very young people already involved in other episodes of youth violence. The photos were shown to the two victims, resulting in the identification of the two perpetrators.
The 18-year-old had been tried before the Juvenile Court of Venice for having attacked and threatened another young man together with a peer; in February he had been caught in possession of a switchblade, and for this reason the Police Chief of Padua, Marco Odorisio, had deemed him a socially dangerous person, issuing an Oral Warning against him.

For the April episode, he finally ordered a ban on returning to the municipality of Padua for four years.ANSA VENETO
