On Saturday 6th July in Quartu the spotlight will be on ‘Pataquartu 2024’
The appointment is set for Saturday 6 July when the center of Quartu Sant’Elena will light up once again with good food, street food, sports and music, typical products and crafts, with a great common thread: the potato. The successful appointment with “PataQuartu” is renewed again this year, organized by Coldiretti Cagliari in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Quartu Sant’Elena.

An event that once again will combine entertainment and good food with the aim of promoting the potatoes of Quartu, true excellences of the territory. The appointment of Coldiretti and the Municipality of Quartu once again boasts the collaboration of Campagna Amica, with the Lions Quartu, the Sant’Isidoro Rural District and La Via del Mare and the support of Pro Loco Quartu and Fondazione di Sardegna.
From 6:00 p.m. to midnight, Viale Colombo will once again be the center of entertainment for an event that attracts a large crowd of visitors every year. It will be possible to taste the unmissable dishes based on the star of the event, the potato, along with other products from the Campagna Amica area, including fried fish from producer Strazzera, snails from Quartu, but also artisanal piadina made from grano capelli, all accompanied by quality products from artisanal breweries in the area. Real delicacies made with local products by the expert hands of the Pro Loco di Quartu.

In addition to food, there will also be space for sports in this edition thanks to the participation of about 15 sports clubs that will bring the kids to play in the fields and spaces organized in the location of the event between riding on two ponies and 360-degree games. Also unmissable are the workshops organized by Donne Coldiretti Cagliari to involve young people and not only in the secrets of nutrition and agri-food production. From 10 pm to midnight, space for music with the concert of Non Soul Funky followed by the DJ-set with Simonluca.
