Turin: Metro 2, 16 million euro tender for consultancy on trains and civil works

The first tender for Turin’s Metro 2 was launched this morning. The call for tenders concerns consultancy on trains and civil works on the Rebaudengo-Porta Nuova section. A 16 million euro tender that will aim to select a professional subject capable of defining the best technologies for the new line and at the same time the internal and external works of the metro.

In recent days, confirmation has arrived that the remodeling of the route, due to the high cost of materials, has been officially approved by the ministry. The technology tender will start by the end of 2024, which we know is one of the most important because it will redesign the future of the infrastructure”, he concluded.
