A team from Pistoia on the national roof of the Opes Italia championships. It happens to Carrozzeria Alba Fashion, fresh winners in Misano of the national amateur five-a-side football championships. A triumph that is the result of an almost perfect ride, culminating with the 6-2 victory in the final over their cousins Dinosauri, a team that represented the province of Prato in the Opes finals. A tennis score that says a lot about the strength of Alba Fashion, who only found some obstacles in the semifinal, winning by a narrow 3-2 over S6C. Previously, Carrozzeria in the group stage had conceded a draw, 5-5 against the Perugians El Barba. Then only victories: the 3-1 in the debut against Timbombo of Udine, and then the 3-2 inflicted on Mimi Futsal of Bologna, and again the 5-0 against Avis c5 of Ancona. A group victory that allowed Pistoia to avoid the quarter-finals, going directly to play the semi-final against S6c, which they then won 3-2.
Returning to the final played against the Dinosaurs, the feeling was that of a potentially balanced match. Instead, Carrozzeria Alba Fashion pulled a perfect performance out of the hat, quickly mortgaging the final success and without giving their cousins a chance to respond in the long run. The latter in turn had won group A, with three wins and a draw, and then got rid of Timbombo from Udine in the semifinals on penalties with a result of 5-4. In the final, however, the territorial and playing supremacy of the Pistoiesi was clear, leading them to raise the cup to the sky in front of friends and fans.
