Abruzzo has announced a significant increase in the financial allocation for the “IO Studio” program scholarship.
This move aims to provide more vigorous support to students of high schools of the region. Thanks to this decision, the scholarship will see its value increase from 150 to 390 euros.

The decision, taken by the Education Councillor, Roberto Santangelo, provides for a significant increase in the financial allocation for the scholarships. This change will bring the amount allocated to students from 150 to a whopping 390 euros. Councilor Santangelo motivated this choice as a direct response to the defined number of applications received and the desire to make the best use of the resources provided by the Ministry of Education and Merit.
The increase in the financial endowment of scholarships is seen as an important benefit not only for students, but also for their families. The aim is to alleviate the economic burden related to studies and encourage school commitment. Furthermore, this measure is interpreted as a strong signal of trust in the educational system and in its ability to reward students’ efforts.

For the 2023/2024 school year, 20,000 students have been admitted to the IO Studio program. 2430 questions in Abruzzowith approximately 950 thousand euros assigned to the Region by the Ministry of Education and Merit. The names of the beneficiary students will be communicated by next June 30th, together with the exact amount of their scholarship updated to 390 euros.
