The XXXII edition of Fano Jazz By The Sea

For its XXXII edition, the festival Fano Jazz By The Sea confirms its international scope by offering a program spread over nine days – from July 20 to 28 – with 43 concerts (35 of which are free) and 150 musicians from Italy and abroad, who will perform in eight different locations, thus giving coverage to an event spread throughout the city in the Marche region, from the historic center to the seafront, with events from dawn to late at night.

But the 2024 edition of Fano Jazz By The offers, as usual, other and diversified sections, from Live In The City, with a concert at dawn on the seashore (Sunday 21st on the Sassonia Beach with the pianist Claudio Vignali), to Young Stage, a space dedicated to young talents, from Cosmic Journey, with performances by performers and DJs who mix jazz with electronic music, to Exodus Stage, a cycle of solo performances dedicated to the drama of migration hosted from 23 to 27 July in the former Church of San Francesco and in the Pinacoteca di San Domenico and whose protagonists will be the multi-instrumentalist of Kurdish origin Ashti Abdothe saxophonist Emi Vernizzithe bandoneonist and flautist Carlo Maverthe guitarist Alessandro Santacaterina and the violinist Agnes Friendspecialist of the hardingfele, the traditional Norwegian violin. The Green Jazz Village, set up in front of the Rocca Malatestiana, will maintain a central position in the structure of a Festival that has made sustainability and inclusiveness its cornerstones.
