Rome, 28 June (askanews) – For the first time in Italy, the World Skate Games, the world championships of roller sports, are landing. 4 Italian regions: Lazio, Piedmont, Abruzzo and Emilia Romagna, protagonists of an unprecedented experience. 12 disciplines, 12,000 athletes and teams, 600 competitions, 100 participating countries, with more than 150 titles to be awarded, for an international event in which a whirlwind of breathtaking emotions come together. A true youth festival in which sport and entertainment mix. As the president of the Italian Roller Sports Federation and of World Skate Sabatino Aracu and the Minister for Sport and Youth underlined at the presentation in Novara. “The 100th anniversary of the birth of the international federation and the 100th anniversary of Hockey Novara are an unmissable opportunity to present this great event. From 7 to 22 September the city of Novara will host all the roller hockey tournaments”, Aracu recalled. “The fourth edition of the World Skate Games represents a meeting between peoples, through sport, for peace and inclusion”, added the sports councilor of the Municipality of Novara Ivan De Grandis.
