The president and vice president elected by the renewed Steering Committee will remain in office for four years until 2028.

The lawyer Luciano Barsottihas been confirmed as president of Fondazione Livorno. With this position he will continue to lead the institution in its action to support the territory following the strategic lines already outlined by the management bodies in recent years.

He will be joined by the newly elected vice president Giovanna Colombini. Full Professor of Public Law at the Department of Political Sciences of the University of Pisa, Giovanna Colombini joined the Foundation in July 2018 following her appointment as a Member. Subsequently, in 2022, she joined the Steering Committee. She was a member of the Board of Auditors of the Parliamentary Budget Office and of the ANAC, he has held important positions in the Presidency Council of the Court of Auditors as a lay member and is currently a member of the Scientific Committee of the F. Staderini School of Higher Education for Accounting Magistrates. On an academic level, you have dedicated great attention to the “Logistics Systems” University Center of Livorno of which you were director of the Service Center and President of the degree course in Economics and Legislation of Logistics Systems.

President and vice president will remain in office until April 2028.

The two appointments were formalized today, 1 July, with the installation of the new one Steering Committee of Fondazione Livorno which defines the general aims and strategic directions for carrying out the Foundation’s activity in the various institutional sectors of intervention, and is made up of 12 members.

The members of the current Steering Committee, designated by the Shareholders’ Meeting, are: Luciano Barsotti, Marina Cagliata, Giovanna Colombini, Riccardo Costagliola, Marco Luise and Elena Uccelli.

The remaining members, appointed by local institutions and bodies, are: Ugo Boirivant (Municipality of Livorno), I love Grilli and Dania Vannozzi (Municipalities of Rosignano Marittimo, Piombino, Collesalvetti, Cecina, Castagneto Carducci, San Vincenzo, Campiglia M.ma, Portoferraio), Giuseppe Iannaccone (University of Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa), Corrado Neri (Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and Tyrrhenian Sea) e Msgr. Paolo Razzauti (Diocese of Livorno and Jewish Community).
