New addition to the house Apu Udine. The Juventus management has made Francesco’s arrival official Stefanelli from Verona with Palumbo which will make the reverse journey. There is therefore only one space left for an American point guard. This is the statement:
Apu Old Wild West Udine is pleased to announce the signing of athlete Francesco Stefanelli.
Born in San Miniato (in the province of Pisa) on 21 January 1995, a guard measuring 191 centimeters and weighing 88 kilograms, Stefanelli arrived in Udine after a season played in Verona.
Raised in the youth sector of San Miniato, Stefanelli made his debut in the Serie B championship in the 2013-2014 season with the Castelfiorentino shirt. The debut in Serie A2 comes with Tortona after winning Serie C in San Miniato. For the new Juventus addition, 30 appearances in Piedmont with over 5 points on average. Stefanelli, who shared the court in Tortona together with Mirza Alibegovic, won the MVP award of the LNP Italian Cup in 2018 by scoring 19 points in the final against Ravenna. In the summer of 2018 the transfer to Biella arrived, before the two-year experience at NPC Rieti. With the Lazio team he established himself as an excellent scorer: almost 10 points on average with 40% from beyond the arc in his first year. In the second season Stefanelli almost scored 17 points per game, to which he added 3.2 rebounds and 3 assists while shooting 38.5% from three. In the summer of 2021 comes the move to Cantù, where he plays for two seasons with Matteo Da Ros. In his first year Stefanelli reached the promotion finals averaging 11 points. In the season just ended he recorded 9.3 points per game with the Verona shirt
