The hope was that the event would have the same success as the previous ones and this time too, solidarity won. Let’s talk of the charity dinner organized by the Marika association of Terni, on Friday at the Il Passante bistro of the Happy Village. About one hundred and twenty people were present – sold out – in an evening that was animated by awards, events, laughter, a fun raffle but above all by the generosity of those present. The goal, shared with the Municipality of Terni, was to raise funds to buy ‘inclusive’ books for children and young people with disabilities, to donate to the municipal library. And not only that: because the donations collected by Marika also serve to buy rehabilitation material. “Thanks to the municipal councilor Viviana Altamura – explains Rina Fonti, president of the association – it was possible to approve the project that will lead the Bct to donate new ‘inclusive’ books. But our commitment continues on several fronts and with this spirit, I am convinced that we will go even further”. Ternana Calcio also contributed directly to the success of the evening with some prizes for the raffle, together with all the other sponsors involved. Now we await new initiatives because ‘Marika’ is now a recognized reality in the solidarity world of the territory.
