The ship of Umbria che spacca is about to set sail, from Wednesday 3 July to Sunday 7 the historic center of Perugia will dive into the festival again. This 11th edition, with 8 stages and more than 200 artists involved, confirms the festival as a reference event in the musical and cultural panorama. Between confirmed collaborations and activated novelties the festival is becoming bigger and bigger, attracting visitors from all over Italy.

Freshness and contemporaneity It has been defined as a “boutique festival”, a refined and quality event that represents a real positioning for the artists who perform within this large container that is Umbria that rocks. From Wednesday 3 July the historic center of Perugia will come alive with over 30 events, including concerts, talks and meetings from dawn until late at night. «Every year the edition becomes bigger and bigger, our inspiration is the great European festivals, where the spectator feels at the center of a stage and is not just a consumer, but is experiencing the music. This year we focused a lot on multidisciplinarity, also mixing high and “low” culture for a contemporary festival that must unite”, explained the artistic director Aimone Romizi.

Main stage Also in this edition the Main stage at the Giardini del Frontone hosts artists of national and international fame: Colapesce Dimartino (3 July), Fulminacci (4 July), Mahmood (5 July, sold out), Salmo and Noyz Narcos (6 July, sold out) and the pop punk evening Rebel Sunday with free entry (7 July) together with La Sad, Vanilla and Bambole di Pezza. «The quality in terms of planning and also promotion put in place by Roghers staff they are a heritage that we can envy. UniPg Also confirmed on stage is Garden Stage (Medieval Botanical Garden) which will host three musical awakenings between yoga and concerts, in collaboration with the University of Perugia and the University Center for Scientific Museums. The lineup includes Casadilego (5 July, sold out), Micah P. Hinson (6 July, sold out) and Any Other (7 July). National Gallery Not one new entry but a new formula for the Gallery that Rocks (National Gallery of Umbria). The Gallery will welcome the artists and will be the setting for their performances, here from Thursday starting at 5pm, the new director Costantino D’Orazio will conduct interviews with the artists before a small live session. UniStraPg An absolute novelty of this edition is the collaboration with the University for Foreigners of Perugia, which will host theUniStraPg Stage. This stage will be dedicated to talks on the topics of gender violence, inequalities and disparities in the cultural world, cultural events and accessibility. These are issues that will be addressed with Talkin’ heads, Takin’ actionsthe first stage of social dissemination branded Umbria che Spacca. Artificial intelligence For a festival that is always on the ball, a stage dedicated to artificial intelligence could not be missing: the StageGPT hosted by Tangram APS, Borgo XX Giugno, in collaboration and with the support of the Umbria Region. 5 panels are scheduled, one every day, with exceptional guests who will guide users to discover the latest news in the world of AI applied to music and beyond. All events will be moderated by Giovanni Lo Leggio and will be held from 4pm with free entry, starting on Wednesday 3 July AI as a business partner with companies Eagleprojects e I leap; Thursday 4 July AI and education with Damiano Avellino founder of in memory; Friday, July 5 The Cheshire Cat – The World’s Most Famous Open Source Italian AI with the founder Piero Savastano; Saturday 6th July You become famous with AI with consultant Elvis Tusha; Sunday 7 July with Centrifuge Podcast AI in the world of music where they will intervene Everything Is Italian e Four Days.
