(ANSA) – ANCONA, JUNE 26 – Even the Marche region is not exempt from the scourge of illegal work and gangmastering and the numbers from the investigations by the Financial Police confirm this. The inspection activities, from January 1, 2023 to today, have made it possible to identify 534 illegal or irregular workers employed in the area. Numbers made known today by the Marche regional commander, Division General Alessandro Barbera during the presentation of the balance sheet of the Fiamme Gialle’s activities which today commemorates the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Corps.
Barbera underlined the “maximum attention” of the Financial Police to this form of worker exploitation. “Our interventions do not stop at these numbers – she underlined – in the future activities will be developed in an even more effective and incisive manner precisely to give a clear signal to a topic that clearly requires significant attention”.
