The “Flooded Village” and “Via Ponte Romano di Faenza” committees have decided to organize a Tour of flooded Faenza on Sunday morning 30 June, on the occasion of the passage of the Tour de France.
“The hardships of the Faenza flood victims, on the Alps and Pyrenees of bureaucracy”. Participants will be identified by yellow t-shirt with the words angry flood victims and will carry out a non-competitive cycling tour from 8am to 8.30am through the streets of the flooded city of Faenza with a final meeting in Piazzale Sercognani where they will wait for the arrival of the Tour de France. The event is scheduled to take place participation of around one hundred people.
The communication was presented to the Police Headquarters and to the municipality of Faenza. “Everything will take place in compliance with laws, regulations and provisions of the authorities” assure the organizers.
