Italian Rowing Championship: place of honor on Lake Varese for Vittoria Guida of Partenio Maiori

The National Rowing Championships in the various categories took place yesterday (Sunday 23 June) on Lake Varese (Schiranna).

In the specialty of the Quattro PR3ll mix Vittoria Guida from the Partenio rowers Of Maiori he finished the 1000 meter race in fourth place, just missing the podium. The mixed crew with the Società Accademia del Remo di Napoli composed of athletes Elena Del Giudice, Gabriele Cavallo, Francesco Saverio Di Donato, Gennaro Biasucci and Vittoria Guida were preceded by a few seconds by Canottieri Corgeno.
Bronze for the crew again in the men’s four PR3 specialty.

The athlete Vittoria Guida from the Canottieri Partenio di Maiori participated by collaborating with the Campania company Accademia del remo e dello sport of Naples, providing invaluable help to the 10 boys on the team and their coach Giuseppe Del Gaudio. The athletes are part of the Pararowing II category (intellectual impairment – intellectual and relational disability). It is the first time that a pararowing corporate delegation from Campania participates in the championships with such a large team and which includes among its athletes the multiple world rowing champion Checco Di Donato, a 14-year-old male debutant and a 12-year-old female debutant.

A splendid project of which our Vittoria is part and which rewarded the boys with a splendid third place.

Thanks to everyone and in particular to President Del Gaudio with whom we have created a useful synergy to create the basis for developing the project also on the Amalfi coast.
