In the recorded phone call, which came from the number 0543-712200, citizens are invited “to pay maximum attention and reduce travel as much as necessary”. In fact, “strong intensity with possible flooding and activation of landslides” is expected.

For the Forlì area the alert is “orange”. “For Monday – we read in the notice – persistent and heavy rains are expected in the regional territory; in the first part of the day the rains will be associated with thunderstorms, even of strong intensity, with possible associated effects and damage, more likely in the central-eastern sector and in the Apennine areas”.
“Widespread phenomena of runoff, landslides on fragile slopes and rapid rises in hydrometric levels in watercourses are possible in correspondence with heavy rainfall, with possible occupation of the expansion zones of mountain watercourses in the central sector of the region – the warning continues. Limited phenomena of erosion of the shoreline due to the rise of the wave motion, which could reach 2 meters in height, cannot be ruled out”. The tendency is for a stationarity of the phenomena.
