The General Assembly of Fiom-Cgil Civitavecchia Rome North Viterbo, yesterday 14 June, unanimously elected the Secretariat.

Next to the General Secretary Giuseppe Casafina were elected Silvio Scalamandrè And Angelo Zanecchiawhich then become part of the Territorial Secretariat of Fiom-Cgil.

Silvio Scalamandrè, born in Civitavecchia in 1964. In 1992 he began working as a metalworker in the related companies of the Enel Torrevaldaliga power plant north of Civitavecchia, elected Fiom union delegate for workers and for safety, in 2002 he began his totally trade union experience with the Fiom-Cgil Civitavecchia.
Angelo Zanecchia, born in Rome in 1968. Since 1990, he has worked as a metalworker in Finmeccanica-Leonardo where he was elected union delegate with Fiom-Cgil, subsequently having a totally union experience in the Secretariat of Fiom-Cgil Pomezia, which later became Rome-South-Pomezia- Castelli of which he was first Organizational Secretary and then General Secretary.

The new Secretariat has the task of carrying forward, together with the General Assembly, the programmatic commitments decided at the Congress with at the center the territorial dispute linked to the industrial energy transition of Civitavecchia, which must guarantee the employment future of all workers in the Enel TVN related industries and not only that, monitoring the process of the Offshore Wind project and for a multi-purpose port including a HUB for the construction and maintenance of components related to Offshore technology.
