Forlì, 26 May 2024 – La disappearance Of Nicolò Uliviwho died on a motorbike on Friday at just 26 years oldleft the Forlì community astonished, which clung to the family’s pain and today remembers the young photographer through his passions and his dreams, stopped too soon. Nicolò’s death has shocked his neighborhood, the Romiti, whose inhabitants feel particularly close to his parents, Albertina and Deris. Last year the boy received the help and solidarity of friends and acquaintances following the terrible flood which had also hit his family.

The one who utters words of dismay is the neighborhood representative Stefano Valmori, united with Nicolò by a particular bond: his wife Flavia was his cousin. “There are no words to describe the tragedy that struck our family. My strong embrace goes to his parents. Nicolò was an extraordinary, good, kind boy. This tragedy broke our hearts and made us unable to react. I, my wife Flavia and my children Jacopo and Rebecca are close to my uncles Deris and Albertina, strengthening the sense of family even more in the name of Nicolò”. Valmori then also speaks on behalf of the neighbourhood: “This tragedy has once again brought our community once again. Hi Nicolò, we will all miss you, but we know that from up there you will continue to look at us and put your hand out in the camera to photograph your Romiti. Your enthusiasm and the vital spirit that you have always given off with your smiles will continue to support us, in your memory, giving the light of hope to our days.”

Even the mayor of Forlì, Gian Luca Zattini, expresses words of condolence: “Nicolò was an extraordinary boy, good, kind, a great worker, a point of reference for the entire basketball community and the company of which he was part”. The center-left mayoral candidate Graziano Rinaldini joins in the mourning: “In this moment of great pain I join the family, Albertina Zuccherelli and Deris Ulivi, friends, her loved ones and to the community of Romiti for the terrible loss that struck them and which profoundly shook our city”.

Words of sympathy also from the La Civica list, in which Nicolò’s mother, Albertina Zuccherelli, is a candidate: “An immense pain which leaves us astonished. The whole of La Civica rallies around the family affected by this terrible loss.” “This lack of balance between life and death is disarming – wrote councilor Paola Casara in a post on Facebook –. Have a good trip Nicolò, we will always carry your smile and your desire to live with us.”

The Forza Italia deputy Rosaria Tassinari expressed “the condolences and closeness on my personal behalf, of my family and of the regional coordination of the party, to my friend Albertina Zuccherelli. In these moments – added the deputy -, the only thing that can be done is to express the own pain and your closeness and, for those of us who believe in it, say a prayer.”

“The death by Nicolò leaves us dismayed – comments the Forlì Democratic Party –. A tragedy in the face of which silence is necessary. The entire PD community sympathizes with the pain of his family and loved ones in this dramatic moment”. The Italian Communist Party is on the same line: “We express our most sincere condolences to Nicolò’s family and friends”.

All the candidates running for the next elections have agreed in their decision the suspension of the electoral campaign until Monday.
