Arezzo, a world tour of ethnic and popular music with Vallesanta Corde

A tour of the world between popular music and ethnic music with Vallesanta Corde. The German-Casentino trio will be the protagonists at 9.00 pm on Sunday 26 May of a concert at Spazio Seme in Arezzo which, organized by the Proxima Music music school, will offer the opportunity to experience a fast-paced journey through klezmer, tango, swing and jazz rhythms, ranging between melancholy melodies and engaging sounds. The event, with free admission, will rely on the violin of Andreas Peterman, the guitar of Fabio Roveri and the double bass of Renate Titze who will combine their respective notes in new and original pieces that will be presented during the evening.

Proxima Music’s desire is to develop musical education and training in its various variations in the Arezzo area through the promotion of opportunities to listen live to the notes of great performers on the national and international scene. The event on May 26th is therefore a concrete expression of this commitment through the sharing of the project for the valorization of popular and ethnic traditions drawn from different corners of the world which is led by the Vallesanta Corde, a group born on the slopes of the Sacro Monte della Verna which will stop in Arezzo after having held dozens of concerts in Italy and abroad. The repertoire proposed at Spazio Seme will range from the pride of Balkan rhythms to the lightness of swing, from the melancholy of tango to Irish ballads, from nostalgic harmonies to joyful and festive rhythms, through a mix of atmospheres, suggestions and emotions expressed by the culture proudly represented by many Ethnical minorities.

The Vallesanta Corde will be preceded by a performance by the Little Fingers Guitar Club, the guitar orchestra of the young students of the Montepulciano Music Institute, which will propose some contemporary pieces reinterpreted in a collective key with the coordination of maestro Pier Francesco Manneschi. This evening will be one of the end-of-academic-year events of Proxima Music which will then continue between Monday 17th and Friday 21st June with a review of essays involving one hundred and forty students from the instrument and singing courses of the Arezzo school who will have the opportunity to experience the emotions of performing in front of an audience and showing the progress made in the last months of lessons, with a program that will range from classical music to the more contemporary genres of blues, jazz, rock and pop.
