New landing of the Sea Eye, 52 migrants on board

The Regional Council has approved a resolution that finances with over 5.2 million euros interventions and work support services for universities and institutes for higher artistic, musical and dance training (AFAM). The two departments of University and Research and Economic Development and Training are involved. Actions that fully contribute to the objective of promoting talents in the field of research and innovation, in collaboration with universities, research bodies and other institutional subjects involved at a regional level. The areas of intervention covered by this action are various: from system actions for the qualification and strengthening of placement services to direct services to people on employment and professional opportunities (including those operating in the field of research) for those who attend and train in Universities and AFAMs of Emilia-Romagna. The aim is to promote the connection between the educational and research system and the regional production system, thus facilitating undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students. Projects that the Region undertakes to finance with resources coming from the Regional Program of the European Social Fund+ (2021-2027), also as part of supporting the openness and international attractiveness of the academic offer in the region. There are a total of 11 projects from the institutes that responded to the regional call and which were all approved with the following sums: in Piacenza the Catholic University (270 thousand euros), the Polytechnic of Milan (266 thousand) and the “Giuseppe Nicolini” Conservatory ( 110 thousand); the Universities of Parma, Modena-Reggio Emilia and Ferrara receive 780 thousand euros each and the Vecchi-Tonelli Conservatory of Music of Modena 90 thousand euros. In Bologna, the projects of the Alma Mater (1.7 million euros) and the Academy of Fine Arts (268 thousand euros) are financed. Finally, 90 thousand euros each go to Ravenna for the Giuseppe Verdi Higher Institute of Musical Studies and the Academy of Fine Arts.
