Leila Tahammoli, political refugee painter, exhibits her works in Bolzano

Friday 24 May 2024 at 6.00 pm at the WE point in Piazza Domenicani 22, in Bolzano, “Feminine Art Tastes – From reality to abstraction” as part of the initiatives of the Arcimboldo Club, the artist LEILA TAHAMMOLI will be presented.
Painter, graduate in mathematics, LEILA TAHAMMOLI fled Iran due to the dictatorship and repression against women. She is a political refugee and has actively defended women’s movements for rights and democratic independence throughout her life.
He now lives in Bolzano and painting is his language to express the deepest and most intimate emotions and to overcome the great difficulties of the moment.
“For me, art is the best way to communicate with society and transmit our stories and our cultural legacies”. He loves nature, horses, flowers, but also his portraits and abstracts are very particular. Every brushstroke, every color is a note on the canvas that blends harmoniously to create a work that speaks directly to the heart. The choice of colors he uses in each of his works is of vital importance, since they are carriers of meaning and transmit messages that go beyond words.
Subjects and color have the power to arouse memories and communicate profound and complex concepts.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until 06.20.2024 every Friday afternoon and during the opening hours of the We Space
