Mario Ciulla, owner of “Granofino” in Agrigento, was among the protagonists of the latest edition of “Tuttopizza” which took place at the “Fiera d’Oltremare” in Naples from 20 to 22 May. It is one of the flagship events in the world of pizza in Italy which saw the performance of the best pizza chefs in Italy assisted by the best companies in the sector.

The protagonist of the event, with a series of cooking shows during the three days of the fair at the Molino Riggi corner inside the Luigi Castaldi Group stand, was Ciulla who, assisted by his assistant Fabio Carapezza, delighted the palates of the visitors.

Ciulla also presented a preview of the “Valtellina” pizza, one of the novelties on the summer menu of his restaurant made with Prussian beef bresaola, Bitto Dop cheese and apple carpaccio and wild rocket.

“Bringing Sicily with my pizzas – commented Mario Ciulla – together with the fine flours of Molino Riggi, to one of the most important pizza events in Italy such as Tuttopizza in Naples was a source of pride for me. Three days in which we gave a taste of Sicily to the many visitors who crowded the Mostra d’Oltremare and the Molino Riggi space inside the Luigi Castaldi Group stand. For the occasion I also wanted to present iconic Sicilian products such as the sfincione which was a success great success among those present who tasted it.”
