Slow Food Editore’s new guide to Italian beers will be released on May 24th. For the occasion, a two-day presentation will also be held – 24 and 25 May – in Brescia, with conferences, talks, tastings and meetings with brewers to learn about and appreciate this reality.

Slow Food also revealed this year’s winners, including several labels and breweries from Abruzzo and one from Pescarese.

We remind you that in the 2025 edition 511 realities are described – including beer and cider producers – and 2767 labels are reviewed, 785 places where it is possible to drink or buy Italian craft beer are reported.

But let’s see the awards and the awarded companies. The awards awarded are: snails to the best in Italy, excellence to companies that exceed the average quality throughout the production, supply chain, a new award to signal the commitment of those breweries that dedicate particular attention to the production of raw materials, and excellent venues, recognition given to addresses that stand out for the selection and service of beers and for their hospitality.

In the Pescarese area, the Almond ’22 snail was awarded, a company located in the Remartello district, a small hamlet of Loreto Aprutino.
