PAVIA – Friday 24 May at 6.30 pm Social Bistrot Il Naviglio in Paviaas part of the BambInFestival 2024, is on stage “Amaranta. A Journey Among the Waves”storytelling show by and with Francesca Froglia.
A marine adventure to dream and reflect
The show is the first piece of the “Creature” project, which is made up of four stories linked to the four elements: water, air, earth and fire. “Amaranta” takes us into the world of water, among the waves of the sea in a small protected bay. She is the protagonist, Amarantaa special young manta ray who embarks on a journey to realize his dream: to discover the open sea.
Between metaphors and play, a journey of discovery
With a poetic and playful language, suitable for adults and children, the actress leads the audience on an adventure to discover the sea, its inhabitants and herself. Amaranta’s story is a metaphor for the freedom to be who you are, the desire to explore and learn, the importance of connecting with the beauty of the world and respect for nature.
Sea creatures and interaction with the public
The actress brings to life the different sea creatures, archetypes of the encounters that everyone can have on their existential journey. The involvement of the public, invited to actively participate in some moments of the narration, enriches the show by creating sharing and transforming it into a unique experience every evening.
Essenziale Teatro and Francesca Froglia: a union of passion
“Amaranta. A Journey through the Waves” is a production by Essenziale Teatro, a company founded by Francesca Froglia at the beginning of summer 2023 with the aim of creating traveling shows and performances. Froglia, vice-president and teacher of the Esquilibrio Teatro Theater School, boasts a rich education and many years of experience in theater for children and teenagers, both as an educator and as a trainer.
