Bergamaschi:: “We need a smaller Union”

The main objective of the program of the civic list ‘Impegno e Rinnovamento’ which is nominating Pierangelo Bergamaschi – former mayor of Civitella from 2009 to 2013 before resigning – is to “integrate, rationalize, qualify and make efficient the offer of municipal public services in a network and cost containment logic”.

But from the general statements, moving on to the concrete issues, the definitive safety and modernization of the Bidentina emerges “with the aim of arriving as soon as possible at an executive project that necessarily contemplates the abandonment of the routes within the inhabited centers that today suffer from traffic pressure.” Consequently, for the civic list, strong pressure is needed on the Province but above all on the Region to have the project included in the Integrated Regional Transport Plan.

Furthermore, the list proposes to support agriculture and agricultural entrepreneurs in particular to avoid the depopulation of the countryside, quickly securing the entire vast municipal road network devastated by the flood of May 2023.

“As regards the environment – we read in the mandate program – there is a need for constant dissemination action, a true ecological culture that can stimulate the citizen towards a revolution of the resource constituted by waste”. Bergamaschi also wants to follow the path of integration of the Municipality with the surrounding realities which however reforms the current structure of the Union of Municipalities of Romagna Forlivese, seeking a model based essentially on the peculiarities of the municipal territories. Ultimately a smaller and more territorially homogeneous Union.

Attention to young people, push for coordination of voluntary associations and productive activities, a quality school by restoring a more efficient transport system while maintaining all school principals, social, health and educational policies for work as well as attention to the weakest groups of the population and in particular the elderly, sports and cultural activities. The candidate councilors are the following: Giusto Balzani, lawyer; Silvia Foietta, employee; Anna Landi, worker; Alessandro Maranta, sales agent; Lorena Marchi, agricultural entrepreneur; Alvero Menghetti, sales agent; Paolo Satanassi, pensioner and Martina Valentini, driver 118.
