Is Lunigiana agriculture under attack? Advice for defending yourself and ongoing projects. We’ll talk about it on Tuesday 28 May (from 4.00 pm) in Fivizzano on the occasion of the meeting promoted by Coldiretti Massa Carrara and Coldiretti Donne Impresa Massa Carrara in collaboration with Toscana Miele. The meeting, aimed at farmers, will be held at the Public Assistance Hall (Piazza della Libertà, 13). Two issues at the center of the focus that threaten the agriculture of Lunigiana (and the entire territory): the bee-killing wasp velutina and the cecidomia of olive trees. Technicians and experts will speak in two different sections opened by greetings from the provincial president of Coldiretti, Francesca Ferrari and moderated by the director, Francesco Cianciulli. Carlo Andrea Giorgi (Technician of Toscana Miele), Lorena Ferrari (Head of Coldiretti Donne Impresa Coldiretti Massa Carrara) and Emiliano Centofanti (President of ATC 13 Massa Carrara) will talk about it on the Vespa Velutina. Ruggero Petacchi (Professor Istituto Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa), Massimo Gragnani (Regional Phytosanitary Service) and Matteo Bertolucci (Agronomist Coldiretti Massa Carrara) will talk about cecidomia, the gall-bearing dipteran on olive leaves that worries Lunigiana olive growers.
