All citizens can go to the station, regardless of their area of residence, based on their logistical needs and availability.
Since last year, in addition to WEEE (electrical and electronic equipment such as, for example, computers, printers, televisions, telephones, irons, hairdryers, electric razors, energy-saving lamps and light bulbs, neon lights, vacuum cleaners), Ecocar has It is also possible to deliver plastic objects that are not packaging (hard plastic). In fact, please remember that only packaging (bottles, trays, bags, containers, bottles) can be placed in the yellow plastic bag and container, while small hard plastic objects (such as disposable razors, toothbrushes, rulers, cutlery ) must be thrown into unsorted waste and the larger ones (such as toys, musical instruments, buckets, basins) must be taken to the San Rocco platform or also to the Ecocar, the mobile station that is positioned once a month in the city’s neighborhoods.
The project responds to the needs expressed by Neighborhood Committees to take advantage of a collection point closer to the platform of San Rocco and is part of the activities implemented by Municipality and Aprica (A2A Group) aimed at improving separate waste collection and facilitating the disposal of electrical and electronic waste and plastic waste.
Please remember that WEEE and large hard plastic objects cannot be brought to Ecocar. For free collection of bulky waste and large household appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, televisions, air conditioners, ovens, water heaters) you can call toll-free number 800 173803 from Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, on Saturday from 8am to 12.30pm, providing a detailed list of the material to be collected, or use thewasteAMO app, leaving your telephone number. It is also possible to request free collection of bulky items through the Aprica website at the following address https://www.linea-gestioni.it/ritiro-ingombranti/. In all cases the user will be called back to arrange the day and time for collection of bulky items.
In the month of June the mobile station for the collection of WEEE and hard plastic will be stationed on Saturday 29th in via Novatialways from 8:30 to 13:30.
