Hit by a car in Siena: the father of the frontman of the musical group Baustelle dies

Serious mourning for Francesco Bianconi, famous frontman of the musical group Baustelle. Yesterday afternoon, around 6pm, his 78-year-old father Ilvo was hit and killed by a moving car in Montepulciano, in the province of Siena. For the man, hit by the car while he was taking a walk, there was nothing that could be done, despite the sudden help from the 118 doctors, promptly notified by some passers-by who witnessed the terrible scene. On the site of the accidentin addition to some of Bianconi’s family members, notified by the local police, the mayor of Montepulciano, Michele Angiolini (himself, in the past, bass player for Baustelle), also went.

The investigation

Ilvo Bianconi was well known in Montepulciano; he had always closely followed the artistic career of his son Francesco, who moved to Milan for work, but every time he has the chance he returns to his family in Tuscany. The dynamics of the accident were opened an investigation. At the moment, the dynamics of the events are being examined by the investigators who will have to reconstruct what happened yesterday afternoon, May 20th, even if, apparently, the man who hit the elderly man stopped to provide assistance. The Bianconi family has not yet commented publicly on the news of the 78-year-old’s death, but there are many of them in these hours social media to rally around the very popular Baustelle singer, with messages of closeness and solidarity.
