The Great Invasion will be in Aosta from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June with three days of cultural and literary themed appointments and events between the Giacosa Theatre, the Ducal Hall and the Hotel des États. In parallel to the program for adults, too eight events of the Little Invasion to also involve the younger audience between Saturday and Sunday.

The big names announced remain the same: by the guests of the Accento publishing house Alessandro Cattelan And Valentina Lodovini Saturday evening at 8pm and 9pm at Giacosa, a Stefano Nazzi with his latest book War SongsFriday at 7pm at Giacosa, Fabio Geda Sunday at 5pm at the Salone Ducale, Francesca Pellas, Saturday at 7pm in the ducal hall. The Great Invasion also lands in Aosta this year. The bookseller is the one who succeeded in bringing the Ivrea Reading Festival to the Aosta Valley Romaine Pernettaz. From 31 May to 2 June the journalist and director of the post Francesco Costa and Luca Sofri, Alessandro Cattelan, Valeria Parrella, Francesca Pellas and Fabio Geda are expected in the regional capital.

This year’s guest publishing house of La Grande Invasione is Accent, with two dedicated meetings: the one with Alessandro Cattelanwho will talk about his experience as an editor, and with Valentina Lodovini and the reading from Melissa Bank’s Hunting and Fishing Manual for Girls.

The American Jim Lewisone of the most powerful contemporary literary voices, published in Italy by SUR, will be in dialogue with Alessio Torino about his Ghosts of New York, in which the stories of four different characters are subtly intertwined with each other.
Valeria Parrella presents the collection of short stories Little miracles and other betrayals (Feltrinelli), while Fabio Geda he will talk about the genesis of his latest book Song of myself. A journey into gender variance (Feltrinelli), born from the experience that the author had with the group of adolescents who turned to the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin to address the issue of their gender identity.

In the meeting with Francesca Pellas, starting from his book Everything Must Shine. Life and dreams of Moana Pozzi (Blackie editions), we explore the life of the actress who, despite having been one of the most famous porn stars of all time, was also one of the few to become a public figure well outside the “boundaries ” of porn.
There will be two events dedicated to literary debuts, both moderated by Laura Marzi, writer and journalist from Aosta.

The Festival is held in Aosta with the contribution of the Municipality of Aosta and the Aosta Valley Cooperative Credit Bank.
