On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May the construction site of the ‘Verdi’ theater in Terni will be colored with flowers and butterflies with a large mural that will decorate the paneling along Corso Vecchio. The initiative, promoted by the committee of merchants of life in collaboration with the Municipality of Terni and Krea Costruzioni, also involves citizens, invited to actively participate in the realization of the work. Four private sponsors in the field: Automax Terni (official EVO dealer), Chef Academy Terni (international cooking and pastry academy), MD Radio, K Fitness Studio Terni (personal training studio). The artistic project is by Lo Zoo di Simona who, free of charge, will paint the work and coordinate anyone who wants to participate, showing up on site on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm. «For the entire period of the renovation works – states Daniela Tedeschi, spokesperson for the traders of Corso Vecchio – the mural will transform the paneling of the construction site, in itself aesthetically unpleasant, into an element of street furniture that will give a touch of color and liveliness to our street, while waiting to be able to admire and live again our beloved Verdi theatre. Heartfelt thanks to the councilor Michela Bordoni, to the person responsible for the procedure Matteo Bongarzone, to Krea Costruzioni, to the sponsors who were decisive and to Simona who wanted to give this gift to the city”. Paraphrasing Willy Wonka’s famous phrase, chocolatier Luca Calvani adds: «The secret is not the chocolate itself, but the beauty of the place in which to gather to enjoy it». «We invite all our fellow citizens – concludes Daniela Tedeschi – to come on Saturday and Sunday to share with us this cheerful experience of creativity and civic contribution, in a sort of big neighborhood party where we can get together to experience the emotion of having fun doing something together of benefit to the community”.
