Prato (28 euros) and Carrara (26 euros) close the ranking – very close to each other.

Looking instead at the municipalities with less than 3 thousand residents, at the top of the ranking is Campagnatico, province of Grosseto, which has 2,353 inhabitants and, in 2023, collected more than 805 thousand euros in traffic fines. Second and third place for two municipalities in the province of Siena: Buonconvento (2989 inhabitants, almost 637 thousand euros in fines) and Murlo (2429 inhabitants, over 416 thousand euros).
