It’s coming to a close Friday 24 May there season of Municipal Theater of Montalto delle Marche, theater of fairy tales and poetry – created by Common With the’AMATthe contribution of Marche region And MiCwith music by Leda – Enrico Vitali, Serena Abrami, Fabrizio Baioni And Giorgio Baioni – which they offer in Don Quixote to Burn soundtrack & other stories a vocal and sound journey at the end of an artistic residency.
The theater season is part of the activities carried out in the Marche municipality selected as a pilot village of the Marche Region as part of the “Attractiveness of Villages” investment of the MiC – action line A of the PNRR. Montalto delle Marche is therefore the protagonist of a regeneration plan that will bring a radical urban, social, cultural and economic transformation to the area, to be implemented by 2026 with the project Metroborgo MontaltoLab. Leda offer a vocal and sound journey at the end of an artistic residency at the Montalto delle Marche Theatre, which for a few days becomes a recording studio curated by the sound designer Manuele Marani. During the residency, the band was able to give a first taste of the soundtrack written and composed for the opera Don Quixote is a work in progress – project conceived and directed by Ermanna Montanari and Marco Martinellico-produced by TTeatro Delle Albe/Ravenna Theatre, Ravenna Festival And Alighieri Theatre – of which the Leda are with great pleasure part. The content of these recordings will be played live together with other sound suggestions, both unreleased and linked to the group’s two albums.
The mixing of the songs recorded during the residency is done by the sound designers Marco Olivieri And Manuele Marani.
On the occasion of the Montalto concert it will be possible to discover a preview of a “memory object”, i.e. a poster and booklet printed in a limited edition, in which the artist Stefano Ricci kindly donates his visions to this first sound taste of the work.
