LETTERS FROM THE NIGHT. Workshops

On the occasion of the European Night of Museums, GAM proposes a workshop in the evening. The activity takes place in a continuous flow, giving the opportunity to experiment with the collage technique. Starting from various images reproducing works by GAM exhibited in the museum and which can be visited during the evening, the public is invited to cut out, compose and hybridize the different parts of the works to create a personal postcard to take away. This can be sent, kept or donated, as evidence of the creation of a “forbidden” message, to be kept or donated. The theme will be that of the night: to be understood in a figurative but also symbolic way. The chosen works in fact refer to an imagery of fun, freedom and mystery, of the dark and the unconscious, created by artists attracted by edgy, mysterious… nocturnal themes.
