Ravenna, the Italian holiday

“Today as then, Romagna, the holiday of Italians”, this is the motto chosen by Visit Romagna to launch the 2024 tourist season, with an advertising investment worth 800,000 euros, to which will be added the approximately 180,000 euros allocated to the campaign for La Pink night.

Thank you, really, but it wasn’t needed to attract tourists to Ravenna and its surroundings. It was enough just to remember some of our pluses on social media. Guy:

– come to Ravenna, there is Mirabilandia (other than the mosaics, someone would like to add, reminding everyone that there is also a zoo);

– come to Ravenna, you don’t even need to take a train or a plane or a shuttle: you have to come by car, as you tourists prefer it, we were told by the Municipality;

– come to Ravenna, today there are no longer those ugly towers to scare you, to remind you of the bad industries, along the road towards the sea;

(and yet, remember, we will very soon have the largest regasification terminal in the world, which seems to be cool).

– And there are also cruise ships docked in Porto Corsini, which seems to be in the Greek islands. Come on, who cares if they pollute;

– come to the Ravenna beaches, the water is always excellent, even when the mice dragged into the sea by the flood were floating in it;

– come to Ravenna, we won’t have a starred restaurant, it’s true, but we’ve adapted to the prices in a big way;

– come to us, because at the Classis Museum there is a 3×2 and if you actually go there they will also give you a free bike with Shimano gears;

– and then, oh, we have the brand new Maritime Park. That is, in short, a cycle path in the pine forest in front of the bathroom toilets.
