FANO – La City of Fortune mourns one of its most important figures: he passed away at the age of 95lawyer Giuliano Giuliani. With him goes a piece of Fano history: fu City Councillor, Councilor and Christian Democrat Mayoradministrator and serious and upright person as recalled by Mayor Massimo Seri.
It was the current mayor who wanted to personally express his condolences for his passing: «He holds the record of being the longest-serving city councilor, with 45 years of activity and in these years of administration, his contribution has always been of content and value. His reflections, even when they came from his opposition activity, never went unheard. I like to remember his in particular competence and attention to city planningwhich led him to be a point of reference for many administrators to whom he did not spare advice. I believe it is important to bring to attention throughout his work in the 1960s, the “Piano Piccinato” which already anticipated many reflections which are still considered political objectives to be pursued today.
Always an available man, even with his profession, deeply Christian, he was very close to his family. But in particular, I believe that his most important legacy is the great seriousness and passion with which he approached his political commitment and administrative tasks. He was a man of passionate character who fought for the values he believed in, and we all miss people like that.”
The funeral will be celebrated on May 17th at 3.30 pm in the Cathedral in Fano.
