Champions Party, Bologna in the square on Wednesday

Rossoblù fans will have to wait a few more days to be able to enjoy the much desired match Champions League party. In fact, if everything seemed planned for Monday evening after the home match against Juventus, today it seems that the bus tour with the whole team will be postponed until Wednesday.

The reasons are different: beyond to the weather forecast, which didn’t look very promising for Monday, there was also the problem of timetables since with the kick-off set for 8.45pm the time would have been significantly extended. In fact, following the original plan, between showers, post-race interviews and the journey from Dall’Ara to Piazza Maggiore, the key moment would have been reached at almost 1am. Thus, the management decided to postpone the actual party until Wednesday while still maintaining a small celebration inside the stadium after the match against the Bianconeri.

The program

The club and the municipality have made sure to fit together all the events of next week. In fact, if it was impossible to postpone everything to Tuesday evening due to the CCCP concert in Piazza Maggiore, the club decided to take advantage of this obstacle by moving the BFC’s usual end-of-season dinner to that occasion, in order to have Wednesday evening completely free for the triumphal tour. Everything perfectly organised, with the open bus that will leave around 7pm together with players, technical staff and management towards the city centre. At the moment the route of the “parade” is still being studied, but as soon as it is official Bologna will communicate it on their websites and the fans will then be able to decide where to stand along the route. Furthermore, there will not be a stage in the square, so that everyone can stay as close as possible to the team bus.

In short, on Sunday night after Atalanta-Roma the people of Bologna only had a taste of what will be the real victorious parade.

After Bologna – Juventus

For all those who bought tickets for the match against the Bianconeri and were hoping for post-match celebrations, don’t be discouraged. The last home match of the season will in fact be duly honoured, with the rossoblù who will first wear the celebratory Champions League shirt in the warm-up, and then during the 90 minutes they will show off the first official shirt of the 2024-25 season, all thanks to the sponsors Macron and Saputo. In addition, all those present at the stadium (sold-out) at the end of the match will attend a mini-Champions party enriched by interviews, light shows, music and the team’s famous lap of honor to shake hands with the fans in the stands .

Finally, as it should be, for the first time in a very long time the entire world of Bologna will close the evening listening to the magnificent Champions League anthem, imagining the magnificent nights that will come next September.
