Over the last 15 days, the new provincial coordinator of the Zoofile Guards Oipa Pesaro Urbino, Marino Guerra, has met with the candidate mayors and municipal councilors of the area, as well as various regional councillors, asking everyone the same thing: to comply with the regional law to regarding the creation of cat shelters and feline oases which, in most of our municipalities, are non-existent as well as possible agreements with adequate structures. Not only that: everyone was asked to team up with neighboring municipalities to put pressure on the Region to ensure that the regional law is changed, making the microchipping and registration of all cats compulsory in the feline registry, exactly as it is happening in Lombardy, to put a stop to the phenomenon of abandonment.
