In recent hours, rumors had emerged relating to an interest on the part of two consortiums for the purchase of the Latin. Indiscretions to which the president of the Pontine club Antonio Terracciano wanted to respond through a note published through the official channels of the Nerazzurri club:
“The President of Latina Calcio 1932 categorically denies the rumors that have circulated in recent days regarding alleged ongoing negotiations aimed at the sale of the company. He therefore warns anyone against spreading unfounded news, which has been artfully spread by those who do not cares about Latina Calcio, have only the dual objective of questioning the serious and ambitious project carried out and of insinuating confusion and uncertainty in those who have always supported and loved the colors of this club.
The President points out, however, that the commitment remains to continue to invest and grow Latina Calcio, starting from the last three seasons played in the Lega Pro. Seasons that demonstrate the progressive consolidation of the project, thanks to which we are preparing with confidence to start next football year. Our objective remains, therefore, to continue the growth of Latina Calcio, relying on the support of the entire city and in particular of the community of fans, who we are sure will continue to support the corporate initiatives and the team with growing enthusiasm.”
