Napoli dreams of the Antonio Conte coup. The Italian club, as the newspaper Il Mattino writes, would have carried out a survey with the coach in Turin, where Conte currently lives with his family. De Laurentiis is aware that the road to the former Italy coach is the most onerous to travel. In fact, Conte would earn around 6 million euros per season plus bonuses for at least two years, with an option for a third. However, Napoli must also resolve the issue relating to severance pay in the event of separation before the contract expires. De Laurentiis, however, intends to convince Conte, making an extra effort.
Conte has also been linked to Milan, who however according to the newspaper seems to have other names to replace the departing Stefano Pioli. The current AC Milan coach always remains DeLa’s plan B, who has not hidden his appreciation for him. However, Vincenzo Italiano and Gianpiero Gasperini are also on Napoli’s roster. The former is already certain of leaving Fiorentina while the latter, courted by many parties, has not yet resolved his reservations about the future.
