Local closure
Yesterday, 8 May 2024, the Prato Police Commissioner issued a closure order pursuant to art. 100 TULPS against a bar located in via Erbosa, managed by a Chinese citizen.
The police order was issued as personnel of the Carabinieri of the Tenenza of Montemurlo on 5 May proceeded with the arrest, inside the premises, of a foreign citizen, burdened by a police record, irregular on the national territory, caught in the act of committing the crime of drug dealing.
In detail, the substance was sold by the drug dealer to an Italian consumer, who also had a police record.
The Carabinieri soldiers extended the operation to the search of the premises, which ended with the discovery of approximately 10 grams of narcotic substance of the cocaine type and approximately 20 grams of the hashish type, placed on a shelf as well as, inside the bathroom, another 6 grams of hashish-type narcotic substance.
Considering the content of the facts ascertained and the consequent risks for public safety, the Police Commissioner of Prato, Pasquale Antonio de Lorenzo, has adopted an administrative provision with precautionary purposes which was notified yesterday and which orders the closure of the premises for 15 days.
