There are more and more virtuous examples of private investments in the world of culture, often thanks to enlightened entrepreneurs. With this initiative we intend to enhance these examples to stimulate further initiatives

Confindustria Cuneo presents a competition called “I invest in culture” because «it wishes to highlight companies’ projects in the cultural field». The initiative was launched by Beppe Incarbona as «support and growth of its members» to «encourage and spread good practices in the cultural field also within entrepreneurial realities».In its first edition, the award will focus on corporate cultural projects completed during 2023.

According to Baldo, the projects must fall into one of the following reference categories: “Culture for business” (projects falling within the cultural sphere created and financed by companies); “Together for culture” (cultural projects created thanks to collaborations and/or sponsorships between companies and cultural bodies) e “Calls and Art Bonuses” (cultural projects carried out by companies thanks to Art Bonus or through calls for tenders). Numerous prizes are up for grabs, including the one involving the Holden School, assigned based on the evaluations of an excellent jury.

On Friday 24 May the award will come to the fore at the Dogliani TV Festival. The initiative will be presented during the meeting “The culture between public and private investment” which will see the participation of the journalist Francesco Marinoeditor-in-chief of Piedmont Region news, Alessandro Giulipresident of the Maxxi Foundation, Evelina Christillinpresident of the Egyptian Museum of Turin e Giuliana Ciriogeneral director of Confindustria Cuneo.

The primary objective of the “I invest in culture” award is to enhance these examples to stimulate further initiatives with certain repercussions on the well-being of citizens and the territory, combining the productive aspect with the cultural one. An opportunity for collective enrichment.”
