“Molfetta in Green” between exhibitions, tastings, workshops, art and music

Everything is ready for the first edition of “Molfetta in Green”. From nature to the Km0 table, the fair-market, organized by the ReArte Association of Molfetta with the patronage of the Municipality of Molfetta in collaboration with the Councilor for the Environment Caterina Roselliaims to create synergistic work to encourage and promote the culture of greenery.

The market-fair supported by large partners, Gal Ponte Lama, Cooperativa Terra di Olivi, Associazione Chicoria a Puntarelle di Molfetta, Coldiretti Molfetta, Associazione Hosts in Old Town – Molfetta and CIA – Agricoltori Italiani Bari – BAT, takes place over three days.

Friday 10 May, 6pm, inauguration in the Council Hall of Palazzo Giovene in the presence of the Mayor, Tommaso Minervini, and the Municipal Administration.

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May the event will take place throughout the entire area of ​​the Centro Antico and aims to involve a large and transversal audience.
At the symposium, after the institutional greetings, the speakers will address the issues of innovation and sustainability in the agri-food, horticultural, horticulture, health, well-being and urban development sectors. At the end in the “Limoneto” of Piazza Municipio the audience will be delighted by the live performances.

Saturday and Sunday, starting from 10am, opening of the exhibition stands until 9pm with horticultural products, fruit and vegetables and food and wine linked to the excellence of the territory.

In collaboration with the Diocesan Museum, the green theme will be developed through guided tours and educational workshops.
Inside the Church of Death and the sixteenth-century Palazzo Nesta, the photographic exhibition and the contemporary art exhibition with the theme will be set up by the II.SS. Monsignor Bello of Molfetta.

Particular attention will be dedicated to the entertainment of the days through the planning of organized cultural events.
Special 0km Green dishes will be offered at the restaurateurs who have supported and joined the initiative to satisfy the various needs of visitors.
The “Molfetta in green” event – ​​1st Edition is an example that can also be replicated in other urban contexts for the knowledge and diffusion of green culture, ecological attention and environmental sustainability through the setting up of green areas in squares and open spaces.
