According to what was reported by 38 year old to the carabinieri at the Macerata Campania stationwho intervened on the spot, the attack, yet another, would have arisen from the fact that her father would not have metabolized the end of the marriage between her and her exand, above all, he absolutely did not accept that she, a few months ago, had started a romantic relationship with another man.
The latter attack occurred in the late afternoon of yesterday in Recalein via Town Hallnear a bar where the woman was in the company of her new partner. The 74 year oldarrived on site with a bee car, as soon as he saw his daughter with her new partner, he first began to rail against her and then he punched her in the nose. Not happy, he pulled a knife from his pocket and attempted to hit her. It was only thanks to the intervention of some passers-by that the man failed in his aim.
The police, who intervened on site at the victim’s request, interviewed the people informed of the facts and viewed the footage from the video surveillance cameras in the area which made it possible to verify what the woman said. In the complaint, the victim reported other episodes from her father starting from March, i.e. since she started the new relationship, which caused her a serious and persistent state of anxiety and fear, causing her to change her choices and lifestyle habits.
The 74 year old, tracked down within 48 hours of the event, he was arrested and placed under house arrest on the orders of the judicial authorities.
