The 17-year-old student from the technical institute of Rossano waited for the law teacher outside. The shock of the principal who had confronted the boy in the corridor and had in turn been attacked
ROSSANO CORIGLIANO (Cosenza) He didn’t accept the bad grade reported in the interrogation in Law and took revenge by beating the professor bloody. It happened at the municipal technical school institute of Rossano on Monday morning. The seventeen-year-old student, LL, who attends the third year of the Institute, was called by Professor Saverio Parrilla to illustrate some cases of controversies in the public and private sectors.
The student would have shown up unprepared and hence, the professor’s decision to give him a failing grade. The boy, at first, would not have shown so much bitterness about how the interrogation had gone. He remained in class but, after a short while, asked to leave. In the corridor he met the headmaster of the Institute Anna Maria Di Cianni, who asked the student what he was doing outside the classroom. LL, in a rancorous manner, would have verbally attacked her.
The manager, at that point, he immediately arranged for him to be removed from school of the student, justifying the decision to his mother Paola Aloisio, to whom he was entrusted. There Suspension from the lessons he has evidently made the young man even more enraged who, instead of returning home, decided to wait outside the school for Professor Parrilla, to give him a lesson. And so it was.
After the bell rang, the teacher was about to leave, followed by his colleagues. The student confronted him in the schoolyard with a hard face and without saying a wordhe has it first hit several times in the head and face with a motorcycle helmet causing him to fall to the ground. Not satisfied, the student lashed out, kicking and punching him.
The professor Parrilla was rescued by colleagues and transported to the hospital. His conditions are not of concern, but the doctors have advised the professor to stay for a few days recovery, to evaluate the effect of blows suffered on the head. The Rossano police are dealing with the attack, having received the principal’s complaint.
This episode, even if the protagonists are different, It follows the stabbing between students a few days later, which occurred at the Liceo Vinci in Reggio Calabria, where a fifteen-year-old stabbed a peer. For some time now, schools have become the theater of events that absolutely should not, by definition, record episodes of aggression. Yet it happens.
