very high fine from the Sports Judge

Another very high fine from the Sports Judge against Palermo. The Rosanero club was fined 20 thousand euros for the incidents that occurred during and at the end of the drawn match against Ascoli.

The Sports Judge sanctioned Palermo “for having its supporters, during the match, thrown into the playing area some firecrackers of high intensity, two of these, in the 16th minute of the first half, fell near the playing field, forcing the Referee to interrupt the match for approximately four minutes; to also have, at the end of the race, thrown a stone in the direction of the opposing team’s players who were preparing to leave the playing area.”

Palermo confirms itself by far the most sanctioned club in Serie B, even though no fines had arrived in the last few days. For the penultimate round, however, the hand of the Sports Judge was very heavy.
