Conservatory: new admissions to over 100 courses

Benevento

Green light from the Benevento State Conservatory “Nicola Sala” for new admissions for the academic year 2024/2025. Specific “Open days” dedicated to the various disciplinary sectors are scheduled for the months of May and June.

Innovation in teaching, international scope and cutting-edge technologies represent the added value for the over one hundred degree courses (three-year and two-year) which will allow students of the Sannita Institute, chaired by Caterina Meglio and directed by Giuseppe Ilario, to acquire knowledge, tools and techniques to compete on the music market. Alongside the more classic courses (from singing to guitar, from harp to piano), here are academic courses in step with the times such as electronic music, the sound engineer course or the filmmaking course. Thanks to its recording studio, named after the Italian-American jazz musician Mike Mosiello, the “Nicola Sala” of Benevento can in fact boast vast experience in both multimedia and traditional record production.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 30th. On the conservatorio.bn.it website there are already all the instructions for submitting the admission application. In the notice signed by the director Giuseppe Ilario it is recalled that “the commissions reserve the right (in case of non-suitability) to be able to admit the candidate to a course of an immediately lower level or to be able to indicate another discipline where there is a greater number of places available without obligation to further pay the registration fee”. Further availability of places will be communicated by September 30th.

“Benevento has many strong points in the field of Higher Artistic, Musical and Dance Education. Our Conservatory hosts young musicians from all over the world, with a strong Asian presence which once again testifies to the international profile of Nicola Sala. With us it is possible to study, practice, combine training activities and free time in a serene and at the same time challenging context, with masterclasses held by successful artists, concert activities and major events that make the Conservatory a European point of reference, and not only, of the cultural scene. New technologies and an international scope are our winning weapons”, is the comment of Caterina Meglio, president of the Conservatory.

“Making a passion for music a job, the job of the future, is the slogan chosen for this registration campaign. The main objective is to transform the Benevento Conservatory, with its spaces, teachers always in step with the times and innovative directions, into a large toolbox, from which young people from all over the world can draw to prepare for the challenge of the market and of work. It is essential not to lose sight of the goal, to be able to train talents, give them the opportunity to express themselves freely and ensure that they can make a living from music and culture. Which is wonderful,” added director Giuseppe Ilario.
